National Library Week is April 7-12, which means it’s time for two of Sims Library’s
most popular events of the year: the annual book sale and Readings at Sims.
- Book Sale is April 9-11 -- Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9am to 7pm, and Thursday, from 9am to
2pm There are books for nearly every interest. Thousands of books for sale include
popular fiction, sci-fi, biography, literature, poetry, cookbooks, self-help, art
and photography, education, history, political science, sociology, and religion. Hardcover
books are $2. Paperbacks are $1-2. DVDs are $2. CDs are $1. All sales are cash only.
- Readings at Sims is Tuesday, April 9, at 6:30 pm, on the 3rd floor of Sims Library. Each year, Readings
at Sims serves as an entertaining showcase for talented writers on campus and in our
community who will read from their original works.
