You're invited to the Sims Library grand opening of its Graphic Novels and Games Collection.
The opening will be held on June 29, 2023 at 2 pm in the Serials Department, located
on the second floor of the Library.
The collection is centered on works gathered over the years by Dr. Randy Duncan, 1980
Southeastern graduate. It includes both traditional graphic novels and comic books,
as well as academic literature related to the subject.
We hope that the collection will not only provide an opportunity for our students
to have access to some relaxing reading material but will also provide an avenue for
academic research.
We want students to feel welcome and relaxed in the library, which is why we are also
including games. The graphic novels will be available for circulation after the grand
opening while the games will be available by the start of the fall semester.
