Sims Memorial Library officially launches Flipster on Friday, May 1. Flipster is
a digital magazine service that will allow University faculty, staff, and students
to select from 55 popular titles to read online. Users will have access to Flipster
from a PC or mobile device anytime, anywhere. Users may also use the Flipster app
to download and manage magazines offline on specific devices. To download the free
app, search the iTunes app store or the Google Play Store for "Flipster." An app
is not needed to read magazines online.
Flipster titles were selected based on feedback from a recent survey. Most, but not
all, of the titles identified by survey respondents are available in Flipster. To
access Flipster, go to the Library's homepage and select the "eJournals" tab. Choose to "Connect to Flipster" or to view supporting documentation such as "Getting Started," "System Requirements,"
or "FAQs."
