Social Work

A Master’s degree in Social Work from Southeastern will prepare students to provide services to diverse and marginalized individuals, families, groups, and communities in rural settings. MSW students will complete course work and a practicum in the field to prepare them for a career in social work. As an MSW graduate, students are qualified to sit for the national licensure exam and gain state licensure. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) can provide clinical mental health services in multiple settings.
