HAMMOND – State Farm and four local agents, Alexis Ducorbier, Joyce Jones, Doug Johnson, and Stan Johnson awarded Southeastern Louisiana University Police Department a $6,000 grant to purchase three speed radar signs. The signs have been installed on campus on North General Pershing St. in front of the Southeastern Lab School, on Ned McGehee Dr., and North General Pershing St. Ext. The equipment will be used to increase safety on campus by alerting motorists of their current driving speed and helping slow down traffic through the campus area.
