Southeastern students honored at Business Convocation

1) East Baton Rouge Parish honoree 2) Livingston Parish honorees 3) St. John the Baptist Parish honoree 4) St. Tammany Parish honorees 5) Tangipahoa Parish honoree


     HAMMOND – Students earning accolades from Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business were honored May 2 at the college’s annual academic convocation.
     Students recognized with awards included:
     East Baton Rouge Parish: Audrey Shahi, Baton Rouge, Distinguished Graduate in Accounting.
     Livingston Parish: Molly Sullivan, Springfield, Distinguished Graduate in Supply Chain Management; and Jonathan Taylor, Denham Springs, Distinguished Graduate in Finance.
     St. John the Baptist Parish: Taylor Rivera, Laplace, Distinguished Graduate in Management.
     St. Tammany Parish: Manuel “Trey” Galland III, Mandeville, Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration; and Gavin Labasse, Mandeville, Outstanding Academic Award in Economics.
     Tangipahoa Parish: Drew Barzenick, Hammond, Distinguished Graduate in Marketing.

1) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS EAST BATON ROUGE BUSINESS STUDENT – Audrey Shahi of Baton Rouge, left, was recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Accounting by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Congratulating her is Accounting and Finance Department Head Robert Braun.

2) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ST. LIVINGSTON BUSINESS STUDENTS – Molly Sullivan, left, of Springfield and Jonathan Taylor of Denham Springs were recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Sullivan was named Distinguished Graduate in Supply Chain Management, while Taylor was honored as Distinguished Graduate in Finance.

3) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST BUSINESS STUDENT – Taylor Rivera, left, of Laplace was recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Rivera was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Management. Congratulating her is Visiting Assistant Professor Tonya Crombie.

4) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ST. TAMMANY BUSINESS STUDENTS – Manuel “Trey” Galland III, left, and Gavin Labasse, both of Mandeville, were recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Galland was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration, while Labasse received the Outstanding Academic Award in Economics.

5) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS TANGIPAHOA BUSINESS STUDENT – Drew Barzenick, center, of Hammond was recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Barzenick was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Marketing. Congratulating her are Assistant Professor of Marketing April Kemp, left, and Dean of the College of Business Tara’ Lopez.
