INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE CREDIT
Southeastern Louisiana University values the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
Programme and welcomes applications from IB students. The IB Diploma Programme is
a comprehensive two-year curriculum leading to examinations evaluated on international
criteria. Students are encouraged to submit their IB diploma record or examination
results with their application for evaluation.

- For students completing IB coursework, a maximum of 30 credit hours may be awarded
for scores of 5 or above on standard level or 4 and above on higher level examinations
(see table below). Students with IB examinations in a subject area not listed should
contact the appropriate Department Head for potential evaluation.
- The official International Baccalaureate transcript is required to award credit.
