Applications

Only electronically submitted applications are accepted.

Step 1: Submit your application to the University

Send official transcripts from all universities attended to the Office of Admissions ([email protected]). 

Once your transcripts have been evaluated and posted by Admissions, call the School of Nursing office at (985) 549-2156 for an advising appointment.  Only after the above steps have been completed, can a transfer student then apply to the School of Nursing for possible selection. This process typically takes several weeks, so it should be started early!! 

Step 2: Submit your application to the School of Nursing

Deadlines to apply to the School of Nursing each semester:

Feb. 1 (Summer/Fall)

Sept. 1 (Spring)

How to Apply for Students

• Log into your Workday account.
• In the search bar at the top, type “Create Request” and enter. Select the Create Request task.
• For Request Type, enter “BSN Nursing Application for Progression” and click “OK.”
• This will bring up the application. Read all instructions and questions carefully. After you have answered all questions, click “OK” to submit.
