For more than a decade, the Southeastern Community Music School at Southeastern Louisiana University has proudly and effectively provided the entire Northshore region with a vital community-based program of music education.
Welcome to Fall 2019!
We look forward to our Fall 2019 semester, scheduled to begin during the week of September 2, offering individual instrumental and vocal lessons, as well as a 5-week orchestra session. We are excited about the Sotheastern Symphony Orchestra Concert in October, 2019 where our CMS Concerto Competition winners will perform as soloists.
Below you will find important calendar highlights to help you plan for a musical Fall 2019.

Fall 2019 Calendar Highlights:
Individual instrumental and vocal lessons (13 weeks):
- September 2 - December 6
- September 2 - Labor Day (to be made up)
- October 3 & 4 - Fall Break (to be made up)
- November 25 - 29 - Thanksgiving Holiday
- December 10 at 6 p.m.
- December 11 at 6 p.m.
- December 12 at 6 p.m.
- Payments may be mailed to Community Music School, SLU 10817, Hammond, LA 70402, or delivered in person to the CMS office.
