For more than a decade, the Southeastern Community Music School at Southeastern Louisiana University has proudly and effectively provided the entire Northshore region with a vital community-based program of music education.

Jivka Jeleva

Dear CMS students and parents,

With only a few weeks left from the Fall 2016 semester, we are actively preparing for the end of the semester recitals and for  an exciting Spring 17 semester.

We celebrate the success of our newly formed CMS Strings Orchestra who performed beautifully at the Jolly Jingles Market on November 12, 2016.

In the upcoming Spring 2017 semester, we will offer private lessons on various instruments and voice as well as opportunities for group classes and ensemble formation. We will once again hold our Spring Festival as well as a number of CMS Strings Orchestra performances. We look forward to working with our talented young musicians, helping them reach their goals and dreams.

Below you will find important calendar highlights to help you plan for a musical Spring 2017.
