Lion’s Roar

The official digital news source of the students of Southeastern Louisiana University

The Lion’s Roar newsletter is distributed via email weekly on Tuesdays during the regular semester and monthly during the summer semester. All content is planned, written, designed and produced by the students of Southeastern Louisiana University working within the Office of Student Publications, a part of the Division for Student Affairs. The Lion’s Roar has been in continuous production since 1937.

Staff members are students working for the Office of Student Publications with either The Lion’s Roar, Le Souvenir, or the office itself. Staff positions are paid student worker jobs through Work Study. While submissions and other student contributions are welcome, most persons working with The Lion’s Roar have a staff position such as Editor, Writer, Photographer, Graphic Designer, etc.
