We look forward to welcoming you back to Southeastern as the fall 2017 semester starts on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Many of our departments have extended hours at the beginning of the semester for your convenience. See below for helpful information to start your new semester at Southeastern, and click here for a list of contact information for all departments.
Join us for a Southeastern Welcome Week experience on Aug. 13-18! Welcome Week provides new and returning Southeastern students with various programming and information to assist them in making Southeastern their home away from home. Regular hours for all Campus Dining begin on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Click here for a list of hours of operation for our dining facilities for the fall 2017 semester. Save to your phone for easy access! Don't forget - the new Subway Cafe in Tinsley Hall Annex is now open, and Pizza Hut is coming soon to the Student Union!

The Fall 2017 hours of operation for the Student Union are listed below.
Monday-Thursday: 7 am - Midnight
Friday: 7 am - 2 pm
Saturday: Mane Dish only - 10:30 am - 6 pm
Sunday: 3 pm - 7 pm
The Game Room is open Monday-Thursday from 10 am - 11:30 pm.
It's the place to shop for Southeastern apparel and merchandise, books, school supplies, snacks, and much more! The Bookstore will offer extended hours at the beginning of the semester:
- Aug. 13: 9 am - 3 pm
- Aug. 14-17: 7 am - 6 pm
- Aug. 18: 7 am - 2 pm
- Aug. 21-22: 7 am - 6 pm
- Aug. 23-24: 7 am - 5 pm
Regular hours begin Aug. 25: Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 5 pm and Friday from 7:30 am - 2 pm.
North Campus, Building F
You can pick up your rental textbooks during the following times. Print out a copy of your class schedule from LEONET (Self Service - Textbook Rental Information) and bring your student ID with you to pick up your books.
- Aug. 12-13: 9 am - 4:30 pm
- Aug. 14-18: 7 am - 6 pm
- Aug. 21-24: 7 am - 6 pm
Regular hours begin Aug. 25: Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 5 pm and Friday from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Campus Card Operations
North Campus Financial Aid Building, Room 133
Campus Card Operations office will be open Aug. 13 from 9 am - 2:30 pm and Aug. 14-17 from 7:30 am - 6 pm. Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, Aug. 18: Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am - 5 pm and Friday from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm.
A government issued photo ID is required to pick up your ID.
To add money to your Lion's Lagniappe account, you can bring cash, check or money order to the Controller's Office.You may also add Lion's Lagniappe to your account through LEONET or with a credit card using GET, the online management system for Lion's Lagniappe and other services. Pride Hall, 1301 SGA Drive
You may pick up your parking hangtag at room 125 of the University Center during Aug 14-17 from 7:30 am - 4:45 pm. Residential Housing students may also pick up hangtags during Move In Mane-ia on Sunday, Aug. 13 from 10 am - 3 pm at Parking's office in Pride Hall.
Starting Friday, Aug 18, you may pick up hangtag at Parking Operations regular office in Pride Hall, located at 1301 SGA Drive. The Parking Office is open Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Move In Mane-ia is Sunday, Aug. 13. Review the guide to plan your day.
Sims Memorial Library
The regular hours for Sims Memorial Library for the Fall 2017 semester are:
- Sunday: 2 pm - 11 pm
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 11 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Saturday - Closed

Student Organizations at Southeastern are an integral part of campus life and one of the best opportunities for students to learn outside of the classroom. With more than 125 student organizations, there's something for everyone! Check out all the fun put on by your Campus Activities Board as well!
Southeastern uses an emergency alert messaging system in the case of an emergency. All student, faculty and staff email accounts are preregistered with the system, but you must sign up to receive emergency alert text messages and voice calls on your cell phone. Sign up now.
Southeastern's free Safe Campus app can be accessed by using your smart phone or device to visit southeastern.edu/safecampusapp. Be sure to save the app to your home screen for easy access. The app can direct dial the University Police Department from its home screen and provides simple instructions and recommendations for actions to take in the event of an on-campus emergency.
