With a student body that ranges from recent high school graduates to full-time working professionals, Southeastern is meeting demand for diverse course-delivery formats with traditional, hybrid and online degree programs.
Southeastern offers 44 undergraduate degree programs, 18 master's degree programs, two doctoral programs, 12 certificate programs and many more options for minors and concentrations. In addition to customizing their fields of study, students have the option to attend classes on campus, online or both.
In collaboration with the other University of Louisiana System institutions, Southeastern offers a 100-percent online bachelor's degree in organizational leadership with a concentration in disaster relief management. The degree program enrolls students who have completed some undergraduate coursework and professional experience.
Also offered as a 100-percent online option is the RN to BS (registered nurse to bachelor of science) degree program, offered in cooperation with the Center for Adult Learning in Louisiana.
Many more options for hybrid degree and certificate programs – those that combine online courses with traditional formats – exist at Southeastern. These include the bachelor's of general studies, master's of science in nursing, doctor of nursing practice and several others. Additionally, nearly every degree program offers at least one online course that will count for degree or elective credit.
