Southeastern Jazz Ensemble to livestream concert

HAMMOND – The University Jazz Ensemble at Southeastern Louisiana University will
livestream their first concert of the fall 2020 semester Wednesday, Oct. 14. Scheduled
at 7:30 p.m. in Pottle Music Building Recital Hall, the concert will be available
live on the KSLU Facebook page.
Under the direction of Director of Jazz Studies and Instructor of Percussion
Michael Brothers, the concert will include “Moonlight Serenade” by Glenn Miller, arranged
by Bob Florence; “Critic’s Choice” by Oliver Nelson; “The Man I Love” by George and
Ira Gershwin, arranged by Bill Holman; “Angel Eyes” by Earl Brent and Matt Dennis,
arranged by Frank Foster; and “Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea” by Ted Koehler
and Harold Arlen, arranged by Lennie Niehaus.
