Get ready to kick off the holiday season at Roomie’s Merry Market, a two-day event hosted by Southeastern’s Lion Up Recovery program! This year, the market will be held at the Pennington Center on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University.
You can shop on Saturday, November 1st, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again on Sunday, November 2nd, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
With over 80 vendors, you’ll find everything you need to get your holiday shopping started. Browse local boutiques, gourmet foods, unique art, and festive décor. Be sure to check out the Kendra Scott give-back event, and arrive early—the first 500 shoppers get a free shopping bag!
The market is open to the public, and admission is just $5 at the door. Lunch will also be available for purchase both days through our partnership with the Lab School Dads.
This special event is more than just a market. The funds raised will support scholarships and programming for students in Southeastern’s Lion Up Recovery program, which helps students balance their recovery and academics.

On Saturday, bring the family for a festive photo op! Santa Claus and his three elves will be available for pictures.
Sunday, November 2nd, 2025
On Sunday, the Lionettes will be hosting a special Dance Workshop and Performance for kids ages 5-13. For a fee of $40, dancers will learn a holiday-themed routine and perform it for the crowd around 3:45 p.m. Parents can drop off their kids between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and will get free admission to the market!
