Vendor and Sponsor Registration

The Market Committee Reserves the right to alter the Market Layout Plan.

1. Booth Space is limited and will be assigned after committee review. Your Vendor Commitment is secured only after payment.
2. All Vendors must be present during ALL hours of the market or make arrangements for someone to work for them during breaks.
3. Roomie’s Merry Market does not provide Wi-Fi Access. You may create a Wi-Fi hotspot by using your phone.
4. Vendors may not display products/items for sale inside cardboard boxes.
5. Please respect that Southeastern Louisiana University is a tobacco free University (includes vaping).
6. Electricity is not included with booth payment but will be provided for an additional ($30) charge. Tables are not included, but can be purchased for ($15) per table. 2 Chairs are provided per vendor space.
7. Vendor is responsible for all sales tax filings (both local and state).
8. Vendors will provide and use visible signage for their table.
9. Roomie’s Merry Market is not responsible for stolen items.
10. Fees are non-refundable once your application is received and accepted.
11. Vendors will provide shelves, racks, table linens, signage and display. Booths must be attractive and neat,
and not go beyond the assigned vendor space rented. Nothing may be nailed, tacked, or taped to the facility property.
12. Only one direct sales company/product per booth. And only one business to be promoted per vendor space.
13. Booth Space Rentals: Includes a 10 x10′ space. Vendors will provide table(s), shelves, racks, etc, as well as
booth signage. Vendor determines how space is set up and used but must remain within their designated
space.
14. Set up Friday November 13th, 2026, from 10am until 6:30pm. All Vendors must check in with the Roomie’s Merry Market Check in Table Upon arrival at the side entrance of the Rec adjacent to the parking lot before setting up.
15. Arrival/Departure: Vendors may re-enter the building after 8 am Saturday morning November 14th and after 10 am Sunday. Vendors are asked to park across the street (in the parking lot adjacent to the University Center) and use the pedestrian sidewalk that goes under University Avenue to enter the Pennington Center. This ensures convenient parking for our shoppers.
16. Vendors may begin packing up at Market Close at 4pm.
17. This year we will be offering a more structured move out. We encourage vendors to pack up at their spot until they receive further instruction.

This is a two-day shopping event hosted at the Pennington Student Center on the Campus of Southeastern Louisiana. We provide a festive atmosphere with a variety of shopping vendors as well as holiday entertainment. It’s a great way to kick-start the holidays and get ahead on your shopping list!

Will this Holiday Market be similar to Markets held at the Pennington Center before? 

Yes!, We aim to provide a variety of vendors and holiday entertainment. 

Who will benefit from the money raised from the Market? 

The market directly benefits students involved with the Collegiate Recovery Program here at Southeastern Louisiana University. Monies raise will go towards Scholarships and Programming that help students maintain their recovery while pursuing goals tied to academic success!
