Rebecca Ingram is an instructor with the School of Nursing. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in nursing education from Southeastern Louisiana University. She brings extensive clinical experience from her years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, serving as both a registered nurse and nursing supervisor. She continues to practice in this setting to further expand her clinical knowledge and remain current with emerging medical advancements. She is also a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and maintains her certification in Pediatric Critical Care.

Area of Expertise

Rebecca teaches NLAB 4030 Clinical Practice Competency Lab III in which she uses her experience to prepare students to interact with, assess, and treat pediatric, newborn, and pregnant patients. She has also taught NLAB 3730 and currently teaches NLAB 3820, where she guides students in applying didactic knowledge in clinical settings at both the foundational and integrative levels. As an instructor, she is deeply committed to fostering students’ confidence, critical thinking, and clinical competence, preparing them to deliver safe, compassionate care in a variety of healthcare environments.
