Wayne LaCombe
HSE Advisor, PBF Energy – Chalmette Refining

My professional career has included working for LDEQ, OSHA, and the petrochemical industry. I also served as an adjunct instructor for SLU for eight years and as Industrial Advisory Committee member since 2001. My academic roots are focused on Occupational Health, but my professional experience has been broad across a wide range of Health, Safety, and Environmental topics, and has also included a diverse range of associated aspects including regulatory compliance, education, emergency response, program management, and legal proceedings.

I have truly enjoyed my career path in HSE because I genuinely feel satisfaction and fulfilment in the many work opportunities in HSE to help people stay safe and healthy; work with high quality people; learn new things regularly; help businesses prosper; and have fun.
