Nursing

Southeastern's Nursing program prepares professional nurses as caregivers and managers who provide leadership to enhance the health of a diverse community. Students receive education that incorporates professional standards of care and performance, promotes evidenced-based practice and advocates healthcare delivery that meets the needs of the community and advances the nursing profession.

The RN to BSN pathway of this program can be completed 100% online.

  • Several options are available for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, including: Generic baccalaureate program, RN to BSN (for students who are RNs seeking a bachelor's degree), LPN to BSN (for students who are LPNs seeking a bachelor's degree), and Accelerated program (for students with a bachelor's degree in another field)

  • Solid reputation for academic program and community service activities

  • The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Southeastern Louisiana University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
