Capt. Daniel Blue, St. Helena Parish, died in Civil War. Mother’s grandfather. Picture

Alice Daniel Blue, only child of Capt. Daniel Blue. She married John Clinton Albin
born 1861, whose mother, shown, is the widow of Benjamin Franklin Albin of 1st Reg.
Indiana troops. He had been mustered 31 August 1863, Baton Rouge. She drew $45 a month
pension as a widow. She was born in 1839 in Livingston Parish and married there in
1860. She moved to Hammond in 1900 and died there in 1934. She was buried and Hammond.
