Indian culture of the area is incredibly old. The collection of
shards (pottery pieces) seen here was found in this area. You can
see the many ways they decorated their pots. Also there are arrow
heads, boiling stones (they were heated in the fire and dropped hot
into the clay pots of liquid), pipes and trade items like shell and
teeth of animals, loaned by John Welles.
