Fall 2025 MAINSTAGE Concert Auditions
Wednesday, August 13, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. with sign-in beginning at 5:00 p.m.
MUSA 170 Dance Studio *Located in Pottle Music Building Annex

Because Southeastern’s Contemporary Dance Concentration is within a liberal arts curriculum, our primary focus is to a student’s overall education. Students therefore must have a 2.50 Cumulative GPA each semester to choreograph or perform in all Dance Performance Project and DPP2 productions. First semester freshman are excluded from this requirement.

What You Will Be Taught and What To Wear

• You will be taught several short Contemporary Dance movement phrases from the Artistic Director and student choreographers.
• Please wear attire in which you can move freely in. Preferably all black attire.
• Please make certain that your attire shows the lines of your upper torso.

***If selected for the Fall 2025 Dance Concert, the student must register for DNC 3000 Dance Performance Project (1 hr).

DNC 3000 Tuesday/Thursday Term I (Rehearsals are from 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., but you will not be there the entire time) in Pottle Annex Room 170A
