Career Counseling Appointments
Meetings with our staff can provide students with career guidance, practice communicating with employers, an understanding the job search, and more. Students can schedule an appointment by calling 985-549-2121 or logging into Handshake.
Career Fairs & Networking Events
These events offer students the opportunity to meet and network with employers on campus. Students can find jobs and practice professional communication by attending one of these events.
Resume Reviews
Students can receive individualized feedback from our staff on their resumes by emailing resumereview@southeastern.edu or uploading their resumes to Handshake.
On-Campus Interviews (OCI)
OCIs are another opportunity to meet with employers here on campus. Students can apply for positions and interview with select employers through Handshake.

Big Interview
Big Interview is an interactive video platform students can use to practice their interviewing skills. Create a practice interview in Big Interview as an assignment for one of your classes.

What Can I Do With This Major? helps students connect majors to careers. Students can learn about typical career areas and types of employers that hire people with each major.

TypeFocus helps students learn about themselves and explore career options through career self-assessments, including modules on career planning and career readiness.
