Southeastern’s Lion Up Recovery program is inviting shoppers to participate in a Christmas Market at the university. Roomie’s Merry Market will take place in the Pennington Center (1350 General Pershing, on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University Nov. 2 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. We are super thankful to our Sponsors this year Ashes to Apothecary and Amanda Bennett The Caffeinated Realtor with Re/Max Select.
Over 70 Vendors include area boutiques, crafters, artists and those selling holiday gifts and decor. Including a Kendra Scott give back event! Theta Phi Alpha Sorority will also host a pancake breakfast fundraiser for morning shoppers at $10 per plate starting at 9 a.m. Advanced purchase of tickets is recommended. Also available is free shopping bags for the first 450 shoppers! Come get your holiday shopping started!
We will also have a photo opportunity with Santa and his elves in the morning. And entertainment throughout the day, including a special concert by the Southeastern Community Music School at 3:30 p.m. Please know Roomie’s Merry Market is open to the public and Admission is $5 at the door. We will also have lunch available for purchase through Shack’s Restaurant onsite, LION Nutrition, Mockly and Five Star Lemonade.
Funds raised at this event will support scholarships and programming for students returning to college after transitioning into recovery from substance misuse or eating disorders.
