Mission Statement

The Office of Financial Aid is committed to the success of our students by providing financial aid and advising services that support student recruitment, retention, and timely degree completion. We keep student success central while providing the highest level of service, and equal opportunity in awarding funds at Southeastern Louisiana University, while complying with Federal, State, and University policies and regulations. We increase opportunities for access and affordability by providing accurate financial information, and individualized guidance and support for students and families in an environment that embraces teamwork and collaborative partnership. We seek to deliver a culture of care and to deliver resources that will allow all students the opportunity for education through an ongoing commitment to our values: excellence and caring.

The friendly staff members of Southeastern’s Office of Financial Aid are available to answer any questions you might have during regular business hours.
