Class Descriptions

Barre

Use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Do not be surprised if your class incorporates light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work. (50 min)

Yoga

This mind/body class strengthens, tones and stretches the body while being able to relax and summon mindfulness. All experience levels welcomed! (50 min)

Zumba

This class is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic and exciting class! It incorporates high energy, motivating music, and unique combination moves for a “feel – happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. (50 min)

Kickboxing

This high-energy class combines kicks, punches, conditioning, and agility movements for a hard-core, non-contact workout. Put your game face on and get tough- you’ll leave class feeling stronger than when you walked in.

Water Aerobics

A low impact but high intensity water aerobics class where no swimming skills are needed. This class is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees and back. Exercises performed are effective and easy to follow.

Silver Sneakercise

Stay active and independent with a low-impact, motivating workout. Chairs provide support while you use light equipment to boost strength, balance, and flexibility—all in a safe, welcoming environment.
