Withhold Directory Information

Any person who wishes to have the above listed information withheld from the public should submit a written request to the Office of the Registrar at any time.

If a student chooses to withhold directory information, no information  may be released on the student's behalf except for the disclosures described in Southeastern's annual FERPA notification.  For example, students will not be listed in news releases for semester honors or graduation.  If an outside agency should request enrollment or degree verifications, the information will not be available to them, and Southeastern faculty and staff will respond with, "I'm sorry, we do not have any information on this person."

Release Directory Information

Students who have withheld directory information may choose to release the restrictions at any time by submitting a written request to the Office of the Registrar.

Questions regarding the withholding or release of directory information restrictions should be forwarded to the Office of the Registrar at or 985-549-2244.
