Now that you’re admitted, here are your next steps:

After being admitted, you received email instructions to activate your student account using Okta, our web application management system. After you verify and activate your Okta account, you will be able to access your Southeastern accounts and set an account password.

Once you activate your Okta account, you will be able to access your Southeastern Gmail and Workday. In your Workday Portal, you will view your Transfer Credit, Register Courses, view and accept Financial Aid, and access campus Finances.

Before your advising appointment, you will need to access Workday and complete all inbox items for new student onboarding.

Transfer Students New to Southeastern: After you have been accepted and before registering for classes, you will connect with one of our transfer advisors! Watch for an email to your personal and Southeastern Gmail with instructions to schedule an appointment. After you make your appointment, check out our Academic Advising for Transfers page to prepare for your advising meeting.

Returning Transfer Students: If you are returning to Southeastern after attending another college or university and you are a sophomore, junior, or senior student, you will meet with an advisor in your academic department. Visit the Academic Advising for Transfers page to find your department’s transfer contact.

Once you have been advised and cleared for registration, you will be eligible to begin scheduling classes for your first semester at Southeastern. Typically, during your advising meeting, if time allows and registration is open, your advisor will help you register for your classes.

You can also view the Workday Student Guides for helpful information to navigate Workday, your student portal.
