First Announcement
The Department of Mathematics at Southeastern Louisiana University invites you to attend the 2026 Southern Regional Algebra Conference 20-22 March 2026.
- We anticipate the conference beginning at 1:00pm, 20 March and concluding
approximately 12:00 noon, 22 March. All talks will take place in Fayard
Hall, located at 1205 N. Oak Street in Hammond, LA. - We encourage you to present and we welcome talks in all areas of Algebra.
Plenary talks (by invitation) will be fifty minutes each, all other talks will be
twenty-five minutes. Each conference room will have both whiteboards and
computer projection units. - Conference dinners will be provided Friday and Saturday evenings.
- In keeping with the long-standing tradition of this conference, there is no
registration fee. - We have received funding to assist graduate students and new faculty
members with travel expenses through NSF grant 2508150. - Information on registration, travel, lodging, dining, and parking can be
