The Southeastern Louisiana University Play Therapy Education and Training site is one of 3 approved centers in the state. Our program is also an approved provider through the Association for Play Therapy for continuing education specific to play therapy
Graduates meet current academic requirements for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana as well as most other states
Program faculty members are nationally and internationally recognized as leaders in the counseling field both at the state and national level
