This program is fully approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and is accelerated, offering completion of the Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 3 semesters. This program is designed for those already possessing a master’s in nursing who wish to gain eligibility for FNP certification (American Nurses Credentialing Center / American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board). The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Post-Masters Certificate (PMC) program will allow nurses who currently hold a master’s degree to broaden their scope of expertise, enhance their career opportunities, and respond to the growing demand for primary care providers.
