Become a primary care provider for individuals and families across the lifespan with our MSN program, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). You’ll become an expert in assessing, diagnosing, and managing common health conditions; promoting wellness; and providing holistic care. Gain the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in primary care settings, clinics, and community health centers.

Faculty are recognized for their expertise within the university, as well as throughout the health care community at local, state and national levels
Special computer and skills labs at the Hammond campus and the Baton Rouge Center equipped with human patient simulators (SimMan) and other resources
Southeastern's graduates consistently achieve highly successful pass rates on national certification examinations
Total clinical/clock hours: 600
All students must complete a thesis or focused scholarly project
