Blakeley White-McGuire, 1990s

Studied Modern Dance with Martie Fellom in the 1990s at Southeastern; became principle dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York City; honored in Italy in 2011: 2012 photo as Claytemnestra in Martha Graham’s 1958 Cleytemnestra; website Blakeleyarts.com; her writings expressing the dancer experience in the 21st Century have been published by The Dance Enthusiast, Dance Films Association, Dance Magazine, the Huffington Post and Performance Research Journal, U.K.

Jeoffery Harris, Jr.

B.A. Art with Graphic Design Concentration and Minor Dance 2012 from Southeastern Louisiana University; Choreography, River Rise, selected for performance at the Kennedy Center for the 2010 National American College Dance Association (ACDA); Choreographer for Pack Light (2016) for En Pointe Dance Studio; Director and Choreographer, Soul, Independence Park Theatre, Baton Rouge Oct. 2015; Director and Choreographer for Abstraction, New Venture Theatre, Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre located inside Manship Theatre, Baton Rouge, June 27-28, 2015; He has danced under the direction of dance star Debbie Allen in three of her production companies "Just Dance," "All the Right Moves" and "Derek's Song." He has performed and choreographed for the American College Theater Festival with the show "Spunk." He was a Featured dancer in the movie, "Who Do You Love?". Jeoffery has been on a (r)eveloution Circus Cabaret Tour. He was award the Young Artist Scholarship to American College Dance Festival at Duke University. He was a company member of contemporary dance company "Of Moving Colors." He has performed for the 2010 and 2011 State Farm Bayou Classics' Battle of the Bands/Greek show. He has danced with Dawn Richard (Making the Band: Danity Kane.) He was also selected as a finalist of the hit television show "So You Think You Can Dance" (Season 6). He has choreographed the opening of the "Miss Black Louisiana Pageant." He was head choreographer of the television series "First Date." He currently is the Visual and Performing Arts Teacher for White Castle High School where he has been teaching for three years.

B.A. in Management 2013 from Southeastern Louisiana University.  She completed 30 hours in Dance, received a Dance minor.  In 2017, she will begin the Graduate Program in Dance/Movement Therapy at Pratt Institute in New York City.
