100% Online MITech MBA Program
The Online MBA program provides a concentration in Managing Innovation and Technology (MITech) and is 100% online. This program can be completed in one year. There are five possible entry points: August, October, January, March, and May. The program is fully accredited by AACSB. The curriculum will be the same as the traditional in-person MBA with courses in Accounting, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, and Statistics. In addition to the traditional classes, students will take courses such as Cybersecurity Policy and Infrastructure and Managing the Software Project Life Cycle.
The 100% online MITech MBA Program will be completed entirely online asynchronously. Courses are taught in an accelerated format (i.e. 2 courses in one 8-week session).
Apply for January 2024
Once students are accepted into the Online MBA program they will be advised by the MBA Director. During this advising appointment you will work to develop a customized degree plan that considers your desired course load per semester (e.g., full-time or part-time) and the rotation of course offerings throughout the year. This process allows students to get an estimate of when they would be eligible to complete the program.
All students are also required to be advised each semester by the MBA Director to ensure proper progress towards graduation, to make possible alterations to the student’s degree program, and to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement of the program.
Students are to complete eleven courses (33 graduate hours) of which eight are considered core courses (required) and three are electives. These elective are as follows:
- CMPS 621 - Cybersecurity Policy and Infrastructure
- CMPS 689 - Managing the Software Project Lifecycle
- ET 620 - Quality Management and Control
We recommend that students consult the policies of the Graduate School and the MBA Program by visiting the University General Catalog and selecting the proper catalog year.
Online MBA students are advised by the MBA Director, Dr. Matthew Alford. To schedule an appointment, please contact the MBA Programs Office by calling 985-549-2146 or email mba@southeastern.edu.
