Southeastern’s residential community is home to over 2,600 students.  Residents live only a short walk or Lion Traxx ride to classroom buildings, the library, computer labs, dining locations, and the Student Union.  A section of some residence halls is designated for special interest housing communities including students involved with Living Learning Communities, sororities and fraternities.

Each residence hall has a team of Resident Assistants (RAs) that live and work in the halls.  RAs are responsible for planning social and educational events, assisting residents as they adjust to living on campus, supporting students’ academic success, and providing on-call assistance to residents in the evenings and on weekends.

All rooms and apartments are furnished, air-conditioned, and feature high speed wireless internet service and cable television.  All utilities, including electricity, water, and garbage pickup is included.  Mail services are also available.  Some halls feature laundry rooms.  Some feature multi-purpose space for classes, meetings, and social activities, a dining option, and several lounge areas for studying and socializing with friends.
