Mission Statement

The mission of the Turtle Cove Environmental Research Station is to facilitate and support a better understanding of Southeast Louisiana’s coastal wetland environments through research, education, and public outreach activities and programs for Southeastern students, faculty and staff as well as the greater University community.

Field Trip Information

Hurricane Ida renovations to the main Turtle Cove Guest House on Pass Manchac are complete but the boardwalk is closed until further notice. 

Summer 2025 Field Trip Schedule

Single (up to 30 people) or double groups (up to 60 people): Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
