Southeastern to present piano, saxophone concert

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University pianist/composer Philip Schuessler and alto saxophonist Richard Schwartz of Eastern New Mexico University and formerly of Southeastern will present an evening of contemporary chamber works with electronics.

The free concert is scheduled Sept. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Pottle Auditorium.

The pieces to be performed are from the forthcoming compact disc release on the Centaur Label titled "Embers," with music is by Kari Besharse, Ray Pizzi, and Philip Schuessler. Advanced copies of the CD will be available for purchase at the concert.
