Application Procedure

Students

To be considered for admission into the Executive MBA program at Southeastern Louisiana
University, a complete application portfolio must be submitted. It is not necessary
to submit all materials together.

 

A new cohort begins every January.

 

University Graduate Admissions Application Process
  1. Submit an online graduate admissions application. Upon submission of the online application, applicants will be directed to an application
    portal with further instructions on submitting or uploading required materials.
  2. Pay the application fee. (The application cannot be completed without paying the application
    fee except for international/military veteran applicants.)
  3. Submit official transcripts from ALL post-secondary institutions attended. For instructions
    on submitting official transcripts, see Required Admissions Materials for Graduate Applicants. 
  4. Submit an official GMAT score directly from the Educational Testing Service using
    the Southeastern Louisiana University institutional code 6656. (GMAT waived until further notice.)
  5. Provide immunization records, which may be uploaded directly into the application
    portal after submitting the online application. See Proof of Immunization Information.
  6. International Students Only: Submit TOEFL scores (Test of English as a Foreign Language.) For further instructions,
    see Required Admissions Materials for International Graduate Students. 
 
Executive MBA Program Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university with an
    acceptable GPA
  • Acceptable GMAT score (GMAT waived until futher notice.)
  • Two Acceptable Letters of Recommendation
  • Current resume to include professional experience (Five years of continuous, full-time,
    successful professional experience is preferred.)
  • Completed Statement of Recognition of Participation form

Application Deadline

The preferred deadline to submit a complete application portfolio is the second Monday
of December. Full consideration will be given to all applicants who apply by the second
Monday of December. Applications received after that date will be considered only
if space is available. Candidates are encouraged to apply early, especially those
who will apply for financial aid.
