The Southeastern Lion Pantry is operated by the Office for Student Engagement with
the help of student workers and volunteers. The mission of the Lion Pantry is to provide
perishable and non-perishable items to any active Southeastern student, faculty, or
staff member who are in need of services. We are located in McGehee Hall, Room 109.
Hours of Operation:
Monday and Tuesday: 9-11am
Wednesday and Thursday: 2-4pm
Fridays: 10am-12pm
*Appointments are no longer accepted.

Current Southeastern students, faculty, and staff members must present their Southeastern
ID and may visit the pantry twice each week. During each visit, persons may obtain
ten items, with a maximum of twenty items each week. Of these items, no more than
three of the same item may be selected. Certain items, such as milk, bread, and toiletries,
have limited quantities for each visit.

If you're interested in donating to the Southeastern Food Pantry, you may do so in

1. Purchase items from our Amazon
wishlist and have them shipped directly to the University.
2. Drop off items to the Food Pantry during its operational hours listed above.

Crackers (saltines, peanut butter, cheese, etc.)

Mac and cheese cups
Ravioli, spaghetti, and meatballs (canned and microwavable cups)

Fruit - fresh and canned/bowls
Sugar
Chips
Cereal
Bread/bagels
Oatmeal and grits
Granola bars
Refrigerated/frozen items (i.e. eggs and milk - shelf stable preferred)
Rice (white rice and microwavable flavored rice)
Pasta (canned, cooked, and uncooked)
Canned red beans
Canned meats (i.e. chicken, *we're currently stocked on tuna)
Cleaning products
Hygiene products (i.e. soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet paper,
feminine products, etc.)
Paper products (plates, bowls, utensils)
Drink packets (i.e. flavor packets with electrolytes, etc.)
Can openers
Salt and pepper
