Hi everyone! My name is Madissen, and I am a junior. My major is Integrative Biology here at Southeastern. I grew up in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and I am expected to graduate in May of 2024. I have a passion for learning and hope to further my education by attending medical school and pursuing a career as an OB/GYN. If I am not studying or hanging out at the Tinsley Learning Center, I enjoy doing community services with my sisters of Alpha Sigma Tau or hanging out with my family and friends.
One study tip that I recommend is to use graphic organizers. Graphs and maps are a great way to show relationships between the concepts you are learning in your courses. I look forward to having a great semester, and I hope to see you all soon!

I was born in Pretoria, South Africa and spent most of my life there. In June of 2021, I left South Africa behind, and I came to your magnificent country to start my pre-med studies. I’ve spent over a year in the States now, and it has truly been a magnificent experience.
I am currently a sophomore Biological Sciences major set to graduate in the Spring of 2025. My favorite food by far is steak, thus if you ever get the compulsion to treat me for doing a good job or simply because you find me to be an enjoyable human being, you may kindly leave a prime ribeye with my name on it in the Tinsley fridge. My hobbies include reading, writing, sketching, kickboxing and learning about biology and paleontology
