Academic Advising
Academic advisors assist students in designing an educational plan that meets their academic and personal goals.

Veterans Spotlight Football Game
Each football season, the Office of Military & Veteran Success partners with the ROTC program to spotlight our student veterans, military history, and local veteran history at the November football game.

Resource Center
Our office provides various resources for veterans and military affiliates, spanning from scholarship opportunities to workforce assistance.

Events
The Office of Military & Veteran Success hosts and participates in many of Southeastern’s events, including tailgates, Homecoming Week, Orientations, and many more!

VA Work-Study
The VA Work-Study program is an opportunity for student veterans to maintain part-time employment while pursuing their college education. Students act as liaisons between the VA, Southeastern Louisiana University and veterans in pursuit of their education.

Benefits, you can apply for scholarships and financial aid.

Lion VIP CARE Grant
The LION VIP CARE program is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of an award totaling $1.2 million with 0% financed with non-governmental sources. Veterans Orientation
SLU holds veteran orientation to help veteran, spouse and dependent population transition into the college life.

Priority Registration
Student Veterans and Military Service Members are given priority registration at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Waived Application Fee
Student Veterans and Military Service Members will have their application fee waived.
