Literacy-Based Curriculum Framework

 

The curricular framework uses a variety of instructional strategies that focus on culturally and linguistically relevant activities that are age appropriate for very young children, older children, and adolescents who may have experienced traumatic events or on-going related stress.

  • Employs a variety of instructional strategies for reading, writing, listening, speaking, visually representing and viewing

  • Celebrates literacy in the home, school and community
