Vertebrate Museum Tour
February 23, Meet Outside the Biology Building at 3:30pm
The SLU Vertebrate Museum is a research facility for the study of ecology, evolution, and natural history of vertebrate animals. The museum has more than 100,000 specimens of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. On the tour we will see the specimens and learn about how the collection helps scientists in the research process.
Honors Goes to a Basketball Game
February 24, Meet Outside Ascension Hall at 6:30pm
All Honors students are invited to participate in the flag walk tradition. We will mask up (greener and golder the better) and meet up outside to journey to the basketball arena together. Come enjoy some socially distanced cheering for your team.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Preview Night

A VIP pre-screening of the play just for Honors students. Come see a new version, from award-winning poet Glyn Maxwell, of Robert Louis Stevenson's Gothic masterpiece. A decent man finds himself stalked and confronted by his own evil alter-ego.
Faux Prom Fashion Show
March 11, Ascension Hall Classroom at 6:00pm
Have a beautiful dress or great suit you didn't get to wear to prom because of stupid COVID-19? Put on your best duds and come down to the Honors hall in Ascension for a fancy fashion show. We'll strut our stuff and take fancy photos for Instagram. Prize to the best dressed.
Honors Goes to a Football Game
March 13, Meet Outside Ascension Hall at 6:00pm
Tell your grandkids about how you once watched football in Louisiana in March. Wear all gold everything for the annual Solid Gold Saturday in Strawberry Stadium. The first fans and students in the stadium will receive a free spirit item to cheer the Lions on to a victory! As always, masks and distancing required.

Murder at the Marquis (LLC Students)
April 15, Columbia Theatre at TBA
Serve as the preview audience for this murder mystery play at the Columbia theatre in downtown Hammond. You'll need to provide your own transportation to and from the theatre. Once there, we'll interact with the cast to figure out who dunnit. Arts LLC students will get first dibs on the RSVP. If there are additional seats, we'll open it up to everyone.

Dark Skin Pavement

Come serve as the pre-view audience for Thorton Parker-Young's 'Dark Skinned Pavement' last year's Inkslinger Winner for best play. This bold new drama takes a serious look at the thorny issues underlying the Black Lives Matter movement.
