Southeastern spring registration extended to Jan. 20

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University is extending the registration period for the spring semester to midnight Monday, Jan. 20.
Originally scheduled to conclude at the end of the day Friday, Jan. 17, the extension allows students additional time to adjust their class schedules.
The university has also added a brief drop/add period after classes begin. The two-day drop/add period will begin Tuesday Jan. 21 and conclude at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
During that time, students will be able to make schedule adjustments without incurring a withdrawal grade for each class dropped. Students, however, will not be able to drop all of their classes. To drop the last class, students need to resign from the university and will receive a withdrawal grade for the last class on their schedule.
All fee balances incurred during the final registration and drop/add period must be paid by 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24.
Students have been notified of the changes via a message to their university e-mail account.
