HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University will close Tuesday and Wednesday in anticipation of issues related to the winter storm. This includes all classes and activities at the university's satellite locations in St. Tammany Parish, the Baton Rouge Nursing Center, and the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center in Walker.

Students who reside on campus and are able to do so are being encouraged to return home before travel becomes difficult. Faculty are asked to implement their disaster/recovery operational plans in order to provide coursework and instruction during the closures.

Updates, including any decisions regarding cancellations on Thursday, will be announced on the university's web site, southeastern.edu.
